THE PINT INVADES – TERRIFICON 2019!!!!

August 31, 2019 Author: Lou Federico

Another Year, and another Terrificon in the books!!! It’s no secret that we consider Terrificon our highlight show of the year. Not only because show runner Mitch Hallock is a top notch human being, but because he does something almost unheard of in the modern era of cons, he actually populates his show floor with COMICS CREATORS!!!! (almost unheard of right !!??!!) everyone from industry luminaries like Jim Starlin, Jerry Ordway, and Jim Steranko, to hungry newcomers self publishing their own books such as Javon O. Stokes, Ed Jendrzewski, Ezra Veitch, and Travis Holyfield.

We spent all three days on site and got to talk to so many wonderful people, some of whom are well known to followers of “The Pint” and many new faces as well, and as usual I destroyed my data plan uploading videos and pictures all throughout the weekend for you all to enjoy and below is just a small sample of our weekend.

First up is a compilation video on our YouTube channel of all our interviews, it’s a bit long but if you head over to our YouTube channel, I have time stamps in the description so you can jump around the video to your hearts content (although I recommend watching the Whole thing)

And here are some pictures we took throughout the days, and I would be remiss to not mention the contributions of my wife Jodie, and Lloyd’s Daughter Sophie, both of whom stepped up BIG TIME, and made my job 100% easier than it normally would have been. I can’t thank them enough.

If you couldn’t tell by all that, we were quite the busy bees for the entirety of the show, I can’t express how rewarding it is to help in some small way to get the word out about all these immensely talented people doing some fantastic work.

Until next year, I can think of no greater compliment I can pay Mitch, and the entire Terrificon operation other than this: Even before your’s truly (Lou) had a press badge, I was a fan, and I GLADLY payed for a ticket.

Until Next Time Everyone,

Be Good To Your Fellow Nerd,

Lou
