Putting The Comics in “Pint O’ Comics”
Recently the Jo(h)n’s had a chance to spend an hour talking to Alterna Comics Founder and CEO Peter Simeti, on our weekly WESU radio program (you do know we have a radio program right?, well if not it is Sunday’s from 6:30 – 7:30 P.M. on 88.1 WESU FM, or you can listen online on either WESU’s website or the TuneIn Radio App). Topics ran the gamut from the printing, publishing, and distribution of comics, to movie production, and even some wrestling, as “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, in his last movie role before his passing, starred in the movie adaptation of Peter’s comics book “The Chair”
