THE PINT INVADES – CT GAMER CON 2019

The Con Season officially kicked off for The Pint this past weekend at the third annual CT Gamer Con. Hosted by none other than the prolific Mitch Hallock, who also spearheads the equally amazing Terrificon, which also resides at Mohegan Sun. It’s always a good time getting to see folks we don’t always get to Read More

Punk Taco (Vol. 1) – An Arguing With Myself Review

It’s been quite some time since I’ve picked up a comic book. I use to love it. Reading the adventures of my favorite heroes, page by page, in all their four-color glory. I was well into my twenties when I decided to stop collecting. No, not because I was interested in girls. That’s a tired Read More

GAMING POINT OF LOU – CRACKDOWN 3

Perhaps Crackdown 3’s most endearing trait, is also it’s largest flaw and that is similarity. What the promise of what Crackdown 3 was SUPPOSED to be, versus what we ended up getting is well documented. I could spend a thousand words recounting the myriad of issues this game had during development, but that dead horse Read More

GAMING POINT OF LOU – THE FAIREST ANTHEM REVIEW OF THEM ALL

Alright here we go: no bias, no agenda. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks putting some serious time into Anthem (after all, a game of this type cannot fairly be reviewed until you have spent a significant amount of time leveling up, hitting the endgame, and seeing how that core loop will function) I Read More

GAMING POINT OF LOU – THE DIVISION 2 CLOSED BETA

When Tom Clancy’s The Division launched back in 2016, suffice it to say I was hyped, I love RPG’s and “Looter Shooters” above all else, and The Division held the promise of both. Unfortunately what I installed on launch day was a shell of what I was led to believe the game would be. While Read More

G.I. Joe: Sierra Muerte #1 (of 3)IDW Publishing, February 2019 It has been almost a year since IDW last published a G.I. Joe comic book that wasn’t written by Larry Hama. The Fridge, The G.I. Joe That Helped Win Super Bowl XX – G.I. Gary Vintage Toy Review

The Fridge was not the first (or last) football themed character. Bazooka in 1985 is wearing Steve Grogan’s Patriots jersey. Coincidentally, Grogan was one of the quarterbacks that lost Super Bowl XX to the Bears. In 1990, Hasbro released Capt. Grid Iron, who even came with football shaped grenades! Until Next Time!
